Field-tested camouflage meets everyday kitchen duty. The Highland ERDL Camo Kitchen Towel brings one of America’s most iconic military patterns into your home with purpose and personality.
ERDL - short for Engineer Research and Development Laboratory - was developed in the late 1940s and refined in the 1960s for use in Vietnam. It was one of the first true U.S. military camouflage patterns designed for jungle warfare. The Highland, or “Brown Dominant,” variant featured richer earth tones intended for drier, upland terrain. Its organic shapes and layered color palette later influenced patterns like M81 Woodland, making ERDL a foundational chapter in American camouflage history.
Now that legacy pattern is reimagined for the kitchen. Whether you are drying dishes, lining a bread basket, or simply adding a touch of military heritage to your space, this towel blends function with history.
Made from a durable 85% micro-polyester and 15% polyamide blend, it is highly absorbent and quick to dry - ready for everything from routine cleanup to post-BBQ duty. The one-sided print showcases the Highland ERDL pattern in full detail, while the generous 16″ × 25″ size makes it versatile for kitchens of any scale.
