Refund policy

American Heritage Museum Online Shop – Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting the American Heritage Museum. Many of the products in our online shop are custom made to order through our print-on-demand partner, Printify. Because of this, each item is produced specifically for you after your order is placed.

Please review the following policy carefully.


Custom-Made Products

Because most items are made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Incorrect size ordered

Incorrect color ordered

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Buyer’s remorse

We strongly encourage customers to review sizing charts and product details carefully before placing an order.


Damaged Items or Manufacturing Errors

If your item arrives damaged or contains a manufacturing defect, we are happy to help.

  • To qualify for a replacement or refund:
  • You must contact us within 30 days of delivery
  • You must provide clear photos showing the issue
  • If multiple items are affected, we may request a photo or video showing all affected items in one frame
  • There is no need to return the damaged product

Once verified, we will arrange either:

  • A free replacement (reprint), or
  • A refund

Minor print placement variations (up to 0.5 inches for direct-to-garment printing) are considered within normal production tolerance and are not classified as defects.


Shipping Issues

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address or failure to claim the package:

  • A reprint may be issued at additional cost, or
  • A partial refund may be offered

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout to avoid delays or additional fees.


Refund Processing

Refunds for print-on-demand items are processed in accordance with Printify’s policies.

If applicable:

  • Refunds may first be issued to the fulfillment account and then returned to the original payment method.
  • If billing was processed in a currency other than USD, refunds will be returned directly to the original payment source.

How to Report an Issue

To report a damaged or defective item, please contact us at:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the affected item(s)
